Infanta, Quezon Province :D

April 24, 2011

One Monday morning when our family friend Termulo family invited us for a road trip all the way to Infanta, Quezon. So we prepared our stuffs and around 9 am we started to hit the road, my mom is on the wheels beside her is Mama del and my dad beside her... all of us teens are at the back :D

For a more unforgettable experience we decided to take the newly opened Sampaloc Road rather than the commonly used Laguna Road.. As we go higher and deeper through the mountains of Tanay, Rizal it also becomes colder and colder, I can actually see a smoke from my mouth when I'm talking haha! :D cool isn't?? Not to say I kept on chatting, singing and laughing the whole trip! :D

It took us around one hour to really appreciate Mother Nature's work :D We are really amazed by the lush green untouched virgin mountains, the trees and plants are really really fresh not like in the city, then we realized that we are actually on top of the mountain and we can see the town proper downhill! We even asked my mom to stop for some picture takings and thank God she agreed so we jumped down and enjoyed the cold breeze and the bright morning sun! :D

Then, as we continue on our trip the road becomes downhill so you think its a sign that we are about to reach the beach or even a river?? few minutes later we spotted a very beautiful crystal clear river on our left and we all said WWWWWOOOOWWWW! and the kids in my command shouted in chorus saying "Ilog na!!! Ilog na!! dun nalang! " (its a river already! lets just go there!")

But the wheels kept on rolling down and around an hour after there we already can hear the waves coming from the sea! :D and we fixed our selfs and stuffs in no time! :D

Before we go straight to the resort we decided to buy some fresh seafoods from the roadside market, where in the 1st timers were really amazed by the giant squids, different rare fishes with a very cheap price, each kind is placed inside a styrobox filled with water and ice to keep it fresh..

Final Destination reached! :D As we jumped off from the van we rushed to tour the place and help the elders to unpack our stuffs. All things set, then we started to enjoy this brownish yet fine sand of the Infanta, Quezon... :D Me together with my friend Fatima decided to take a walk by the seashore to reach a spot to have a nice picture then after that when the sun is not that hot we already take a bath and played with the waves with our other friends...

As a tourist, one can ask the locals to cook for them so we asked then to cook for us a "ginataang tambakol(fish in cocomilk) and grilled fish, then we ate using our bear hands while banana leaves serves as our plate :D It was so delicious and because the province is rich in Coconut the food was very creamy and you can actually taste the pureness of the cocomilk that was used! :D waahh say HEAVEN! :D so delicious! :D

Then at around 5 pm we fixed ourselves and went back to Baras, Rizal where we lived...

It is a very tiring but not to say a very simple yet unforgettable experience for us....

This is one of my so called Cheap Thrills...coz for me we travellers don't really need to spend to much to enjoy and experience God's gift for us! :D

I hope the next generations can also experience this kind of fun! :D

P.S. Pardon me It's my 1st time to right a blog! :D

I hope you'll like it! :D
